Ingredients:
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup diced vegetables (bell peppers, onions, spinach, tomatoes, etc.)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare the Egg Mixture:
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
3. Sauté Vegetables:
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the diced vegetables until they are softened and any excess liquid has evaporated.
4. Mix in the Egg Mixture:
- Pour the egg mixture over the sautéed vegetables in the skillet. Stir gently to combine.
5. Transfer to Air Fryer Basket:
- Pour the egg and vegetable mixture into the air fryer basket. Make sure it’s spread out evenly.
6. Add Cheese:
- Sprinkle shredded cheese and grated Parmesan evenly over the top of the frittata.
7. Air Fry:
- Place the basket in the preheated air fryer. Cook at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes or until the frittata is set in the middle and the top is golden brown.
8. Check for Doneness:
- Use a toothpick or knife to check if the frittata is cooked through. It should come out clean from the center.
9. Garnish and Serve:
- Once done, garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
10. Slice and Enjoy:
- Slice the air fryer frittata into wedges and serve. It’s delicious both warm and at room temperature.
Note:
- Customize the frittata by adding your favorite ingredients such as cooked bacon, ham, or sautéed mushrooms.
- Be creative with the cheese choices for added flavor.
